List Down your Successes and Accomplishments
Everyone’s life is dotted with stories of successes and failures. In the quest for that ‘one’ big success, we often undermine our ‘small’ but important accomplishments of life. If you are faced with the state of self-loathing and self-doubt, now is the time to revisit your accomplishments. They will help you realize your self-worth and make you encourage the self-belief. Just take a pen and notepad and get started with the process. Do it even when you don’t feel like it; especially do it then. Play the memory jogger game. Just focus on all the things you have achieved in the past. You will see how magically the feeling of joy will sweep through your body.
Talk to the People who love you and believe in you
Humans are gregarious species whether they accept it or not. People around us do influence us. It is up to you to choose the influence. There must be some people in your life that would be willing to see you rise above your predicaments and become stronger. Find such people and talk to them. They will be able to help you restore the self-belief to a great extent.
Start Doing the things you love doing
The problem with self-doubt is that it makes you impassive towards even the things that you love. But somewhere in your heart, you would know the truth. So, sit down and make a list of all the things that you love doing, you are good at, and that can make you happier. Once you have identified them, start working on them. For instance, if you enjoy painting, start painting all over again. It will trigger happiness and happiness will stimulate self-belief.
Most of the people lose self-belief when the encounter the state of depression. For some people depression is mild and for others, it could be chronic. Nothing seems agreeable during this state. However, you have to have to be firm and stiffen your resolve to make things better for yourself. Even when the self-doubt will keep pulling you back, make sure that you keep wading forward. Remember that even small amount of success can pull your back to the state of self-belief. If you are persistent, you will get to taste the success.
